Machine Operator - Lathe
Local Steel Warehouse – Charlotte, NC | $25/hr+ | Full-Time

Are you ready to join a strong, safety-focused team with long-term stability and real opportunities to grow? We're hiring a Lathe Machine Operator with general warehouse experience to support operations at our steel processing facility in Charlotte, NC.

Schedule & Pay

• Monday to Friday – 6:00am - 2:30pm
• $25.00/hour
• Overtime Available
• No nights or weekends

What You'll Do

• Operate machines to cut steel to exact specifications
• Handle materials such as bar, tubing, plate, sheet, and structural steel
• Use forklifts, cranes, and side loaders (we'll train you!)
• Verify sizes and order accuracy using tape measures and heat numbers
• Help check in, rack, and color-code incoming materials
• Keep your workspace clean, safe, and organized

What We're Looking For

• Steel industry background preferred
• Can read a tape measure accurately
• Solid basic math and measurement skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Willingness to train and operate warehouse equipment safely
