Operations in Japan
The companys headquarters, relocated to Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, houses corporate and brand teams. The open-plan office features sophisticated interior design, fosters collaboration, and offers breathtaking views of the Imperial Palace.

Japans R&D and innovation hub is now adjacent to the Marunouchi headquarters. Inspired by a garage layout, the space enhances synergy and supports its mission to create products that resonate with discerning consumers in Japan and across Asia-Pacific.

Additionally, ELC established a factory and Engineering & Innovation Center in Shimotsuma City, Ibaraki Prefecture. This state-of-the-art facility enables high-quality production and localized distribution for Asia-Pacific consumers, aligning with growing demand and future business expansion.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively advise key stakeholders on result changes and proposed plans.
  • Represent the market Communications team in key meetings to present strategies and outcomes.
  • Develop and lead the planning and execution of Communications & PR strategies.
  • Drive regional awareness through localized PR, events, retailer support, and activations.
  • Manage the communications team, implementing strategies and processes to optimize output.
  • Build and maintain relationships with press, influencers, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
  • Maintain and update press, makeup artist (MUA), and influencer databases.
  • Plan and execute Communications & PR strategies for all DECIEM brands and the company.
  • Represent the Communications Team in partnership meetings.
  • Secure impactful coverage across broadcast, print, digital (influencers), and online platforms.
  • Support retail partners and create/translate press materials.
  • Brief DECIEMs design team on artwork needs.
  • Manage daily press office operations and sample distribution.
  • Track and share press coverage weekly.
  • Report results to stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Beauty PR or Communications.
  • Strong copywriting and tone-of-voice skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Established relationships with press/influencers and event management experience.

Working Hours

  • 7 hours 30 minutes (excluding 60-minute break)
  • Flex-time system with core hours: 10:30 AM4:00 PM
  • Remote work available
    Varies by department; sales roles follow deemed working hours
