HR Generalist Senior Manager or Director

This senior HR leadership role will act as a strategic adviser to the business and will work closely with key stakeholders in the aspect of Human Resources Management on policies implementation and programs relating to Talent Development and Management, and to support day-to-day HR guidance for our Japan market. He/she will partner with Brands and/or Retail Functions and provide specialist coaching, support and influence that enable client groups to effectively deliver business results on their plans.

What you will Achieve

  • As part of our dynamic team, you will partner with your team and be accountable for the following,
  • Responsible for the HR management of assigned business units, which include, but are not limited to, talent acquisition, talent development, talent management, retention, and engagement
  • Develop and implement effective people management practices and provide thought leadership in people and organization development
  • Act as the performance improvement catalyst and provoke positive change in people management and manage employee relations
  • Lead change management projects and manage related internal and external communication
  • Provide HR advisory to key stakeholders and ensure succession plans for key talents and key job positions
  • Partner with the line of business in manpower planning and annual budget forecast
  • Be the focal point for employees' HR-related queries and work closely with HRD on any ad hoc projects assigned.

What you will need

  • A minimum of 7 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in FMCG, CPG, or cosmetic industries.
  • Competencies in all aspects of HR Management, particularly in the area of talent management, employee engagement, total rewards and change organization
  • Track record in driving personal excellence to achieve business success
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with high degree of emotional quotient
  • Agile and able to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced/matrix environment
  • Team player who can work independently and a problem-solver
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Business administration, or relevant field. Masters degree in HR Management, Business, or related field is a plus
