MJK Connections is working with Sunward on an exciting Digital Product Marketer role.

This role will focus on:

Go-to-Market Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of digital-first go-to-market strategies for new banking products and services, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. Work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to ensure product launches are successful and impactful.

Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive threats. Use insights to drive product and marketing strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Lending, Marketing, and Product teams to drive sales by through digital channels. Partner with Digital Experience and Technology teams to enhance the customer journey, improve application completion rates for new customers, and deepen product penetration with existing customers. Own sales targets and act as a liaison between Digital and other departments to ensure targets are met.

Customer Insights & Segmentation: Analyze customer behavior and market data to segment and target key customer groups. Partner with Marketing to develop tailored digital marketing campaigns and product strategies to meet the unique needs of different segments, such as retail, business, or high-net-worth customers.

Campaign Development & Execution: Support the development of integrated marketing campaigns for banking products, from concept through execution, across digital and traditional channels (e.g., email, content marketing, social media, events).

Performance Metrics & Reporting: Measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives, campaigns, and the digital customer application and product onboarding platform. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as customer acquisition, engagement, and retention rates, to optimize marketing strategies and drive profit.

Probable Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or

advanced degree preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in product marketing within the banking or financial services industry.

- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for banking products or services.

- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and market dynamics (e.g., retail banking, business banking, mortgages, credit cards, fintech innovations).

- Experience with customer segmentation and targeting, with the ability to develop tailored marketing strategies for different customer personas.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling product messaging and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders.

- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM platforms, reporting tools) to measure and optimize marketing efforts.

- Experience with digital marketing, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, and SEO/SEM strategies.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, sales, customer service).

- In-depth knowledge of digital banking and fintech trends, such as mobile banking, open banking, and online payment systems.

- Experience in marketing financial products to specific segments (e.g., millennials, small businesses, or affluent clients).

- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards in marketing financial products.
