Job Description
Position: Junior Executive, Credit Assessment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough credit assessments of potential clients to determine their creditworthiness
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to assess risk and make informed decisions
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and underwriting, to ensure a smooth and efficient credit assessment process
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit decisions
- Monitor and manage credit exposure and risk levels for existing clients
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all credit assessments and decisions
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to credit assessment
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in credit assessment, preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong understanding of credit assessment processes, regulations, and risk management principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Professional certification in credit assessment or risk management is a plus
