About the job Senior Executive, Credit Assessment
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyze the creditworthiness of potential clients by reviewing financial documents, credit history, and other relevant information
- Make recommendations for loan approvals or rejections based on established criteria and risk assessment
- Monitor and review existing loan portfolios to identify any potential risks or issues
- Develop and implement credit assessment policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Train and manage a team of credit analysts to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the credit assessment process
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to develop strategies for attracting and retaining high-quality clients
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to credit assessment and make recommendations for process improvements
- Prepare and present reports on credit assessment activities to senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit assessment, preferably in a financial institution
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and risk assessment principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing a team and developing policies and procedures
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for credit assessment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software programs
