About the job Compliance Manager
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and review regulatory changes issued by the Bank of Lao P.D.R (BOL), AML laws, and other relevant authorities.

Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure effective regulatory compliance.

Support compliance risk assessments and conduct regular compliance reviews or audits to identify gaps and areas for improvement.

Monitor daily banking operations for suspicious transactions, AML/CTF red flags, and compliance breaches.

Prepare and submit regulatory reports to the BOL and other authorities on a timely basis.

Conduct KYC/CDD reviews and support the onboarding process for high-risk customers or entities.

Assist in investigating suspicious activity reports (SARs) and coordinate with the relevant departments for reporting and documentation.

Provide compliance advisory support to business units and ensure all new products/services comply with applicable laws.

Deliver compliance training and awareness programs to staff across departments.

Maintain accurate compliance documentation, logs, and registers.

Support internal and external audit processes and follow up on audit findings.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field.

At least 4-5 years of experience in compliance, legal, audit, or risk management roles in the banking or financial services industry.

Strong knowledge of Lao banking regulations, AML/CTF laws, and BOL requirements.

Experience working with regulatory bodies and preparing compliance reports.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Fluency in Lao and good command of English (both written and verbal).
