Position: Senior Cashier
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train teller staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Balance and maintain cash drawer and vault inventory
- Identify and resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor daily activities to ensure compliance with bank regulations and security procedures
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including preparing and verifying cash shipments
- Collaborate with other departments to promote and cross-sell bank products and services
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and preparing reports
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in banking regulations
- Act as a role model for tellers, promoting a positive and professional work environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a bank teller or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of banking operations and regulations
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be able to pass a background check and credit check
