Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement the strong agency banking strategy.
  • Identify and onboard strategic agency partners to expand the banks footprint.
  • Design and oversee agent recruitment, training, and performance monitoring.
  • Drive business growth by increasing the transaction volume, customer base, and profitability of the agency banking channel.

Operations & Compliance:

  • Ensure the effective onboarding, monitoring, and risk management of agency banking partners.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure seamless and secure agent operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) guidelines.
  • Work closely with the IT and Operations teams to enhance the security and efficiency of agency banking platforms.

Business Development & Revenue Generation:

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase agent network coverage in underserved areas.
  • Introduce innovative agency banking products and services to enhance customer experience.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions to improve agency banking profitability.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create awareness and promote agency banking services.

Stakeholder Management & Customer Experience:

  • Establish strong relationships with agents, financial service providers, and regulators.
  • Ensure customer service excellence by monitoring agent performance and resolving customer complaints.
  • Gather customer and agent feedback to improve service delivery and user experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • At least 7-10 years of experience in retail banking, agency banking, financial services, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in agent network management, digital financial services, or branchless banking.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations, financial inclusion strategies, and digital payments.
