Job Purpose

To gather, study, analyze, research, and evaluate business situations and trends to seek new business opportunities. Additionally, to monitor, provide consultation, coordinate, support, and inspect business investment projects to achieve set goals. This includes providing consultation, proposing strategies, monitoring, and controlling financial risks in the ethanol business and the Mitr Phol Group.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to analyze, study, research data, forecast, and evaluate business situations and trends to formulate strategies for the ethanol business operations and investments.
  • Manage, negotiate, and handle contract documents and sign cooperation agreements between business units and partners to maximize project benefits and minimize risks under legal advice.
  • Explore and expand investment opportunities with partners or business alliances to increase the value of ethanol and develop high-value products to meet new markets focused on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Study, gather, analyze, and research the feasibility and technological readiness to increase the value of ethanol and develop high-value products.
  • Collaborate with departments, project managers, and relevant units to analyze and evaluate technical, financial, economic assumptions, and related data for investment feasibility analysis of ethanol business projects.
  • Manage, provide consultation, support, monitor, oversee, and inspect ongoing projects from NDA and MOU to ensure they meet objectives and timelines.
  • Plan, decide, and prepare investment approval documents, create financial models, and present returns and impacts to management.
  • Responsible for monitoring the ethanol business and related industries, both domestically and internationally, including assessing trends, risks, and opportunities as assigned.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering; Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in business development, finance or investment is preferred.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills in business contexts.
  • Strong coordination, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade others.
  • Flexibility to work off-site occassionally.
  • Proficient in English.
