Job Description

• Assisting in setting up and configuring network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
• Helping to diagnose and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems and performance issues
• Assisting in implementing and delivering new network projects, including upgrades and expansions
• Utilizing tools to monitor network traffic and performance metrics, and reporting findings to senior engineers
• Maintaining up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures

Person Specification

• Undergraduate in Networking, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Professional certifications in Network Engineering such as Cisco CCNA, Fortinet FCA, Huawei HCIA, or equivalent certifications
• Understanding of various network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and their roles in network communication
• Understanding of network security measures and assisting in the implementation of best practices
• Knowledge on Microsoft Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/ Visio
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good communication skills and customer management skills
