Senior Project Manager

Job Description

• Plan and manage complex and high-value projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations
• Lead end-to-end project execution by establishing project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and delivery milestones aligned with business and customer objectives
• Manage multiple project workstreams and interdependencies to ensure smooth execution and alignment across technical and business teams
• Drive project governance by ensuring adherence to established project management methodologies, standards, documentation, and reporting practices
• Monitor project progress, delivery milestones, budgets, and resource utilization, providing regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders
• Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing impact on project outcomes
• Coordinate with customers, internal stakeholders, principals, and delivery teams to align expectations, address concerns, and ensure effective project execution
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels across all project stakeholders to support transparency, collaboration, and decision-making
• Manage project scope, change requests, and delivery impacts in accordance with project governance and change management practices
• Support project resource planning and allocation to ensure effective utilization across project delivery requirements
• Conduct project reviews, lessons learned sessions, and delivery evaluations to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Provide guidance and support to project managers and delivery teams to strengthen project delivery practices and execution capability
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, project governance frameworks, contractual obligations, and industry best practices throughout project execution
• Contribute to the enhancement of project management methodologies, delivery standards, and governance practices across the organization

Person Specification

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related discipline
• Minimum 9+ years of experience in project management or technology delivery environments, with strong experience delivering complex enterprise technology projects
• Professional certification in project management, preferably PMP or PRINCE2, is required
• Proven experience managing large-scale or complex projects, including multiple workstreams, stakeholder groups, and delivery dependencies
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery models
• Strong experience in project governance, project planning, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, including technical, delivery, operational, and business stakeholders
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets, scope, and contractual delivery commitments
• Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change management processes effectively
• Strong leadership and coordination capabilities, with the ability to guide teams and support junior project managers
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, principals, and internal stakeholders
