Senior Engineer - Cyber Security

Job Description

• Responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise and solutions to customers
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and understand their security challenges
• Design and propose cybersecurity solutions (network security, cloud security, endpoint protection, Application Security, Data Security)
• Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) to customers
• Collaborate with OEMs, distributors, and internal teams for solution design and pricing
• Prepare technical documentation, solution architecture, and bill of materials (BOM)
• Support RFPs/RFQs by preparing responses and solution proposals
• Provide input to the sales team on new opportunities, trends, and customer feedback
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity technologies, threats, and industry best practices
• Assist in transition to post-sales teams for implementation

Person Specification

• Bachelors Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• 02 - 05 years of experience in Cyber Security pre-sales or related technical roles
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies such as: Firewalls, IPS/IDS, WAF, WAAP, Endpoint Security, EDR/XDR, Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security (AWS, Azure, GCP security services), Zero Trust
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong customer engagement and relationship management skills
• Industry certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, Security+, vendor certifications like Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, Checkpoint, F5, Imperva etc.)
