Senior Engineer - Network Solutions

Job Description

• Design, implement, customize, and troubleshoot network and cybersecurity solutions throughout the project lifecycle
• Configure, test, and optimize networking solutions, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry best practices
• Support Proof of Concept (POC) activities and conduct product demonstrations for customers
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to customers on a 24×7 basis, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests
• Maintain accurate records of support tickets, troubleshooting activities, and issue resolutions
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including deployment guides, configuration documents, and operational procedures
• Research emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve technical capabilities
• Deliver projects in accordance with customer expectations, project timelines, and organizational quality standards
• Conduct customer training sessions on implemented networking and cybersecurity solutions
• Develop and maintain training schedules for assigned technologies and solutions
• Facilitate internal knowledge-sharing sessions on new technologies, products, and industry developments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives and contribute beyond assigned responsibilities when required
• Continuously enhance technical competencies by obtaining and maintaining relevant industry certifications

Person Specification

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Have a minimum of 1 year of experience in Network Engineering or Cybersecurity
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of networking concepts, including Routing, Switching, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), and Firewall technologies
• Possess hands-on experience with networking and security solutions from vendors such as Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto, and Fortinet
• Hold relevant industry certifications, such as Fortinet (FCP, FCSS), Palo Alto (PCNSE), Check Point (CCSA, CCSE, CCSM), or Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), which will be considered an added advantage
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong technical documentation capabilities
• Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and perform efficiently under pressure
• Exhibit leadership potential, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to continuous learning
• Possess knowledge of scripting and automation technologies, which will be considered an added advantage
