Role Summary
As a MillenniumIT ESP Consultant for the Cyber Security Solutions division, you will be required to support the sales team by providing technical expertise, solution design, and strategic guidance to customers evaluating cybersecurity products or services. You will provide services to customers both local and international. You will be required to perform following duties & responsibilities.
Job Description
- Maintain and improve presales processes, tools, and templates (e.g., proposal formats, PoC documentation)
- Work with sales operations to track funnel, pipeline health, PoC timelines, and project tracking
- Ensure alignment between product capability, customer expectation, and delivery capability
- Monitor solution performance during PoCs and ensure timely resolution of technical issues
- Train internal stakeholders (technical, sales, delivery, operations) on new solution offerings or updates to tools/processes
- Act as the bridge between sales and technical teams, ensuring proposed solutions are both technically sound and meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with sales and finance teams to build accurate cost models for proposed cybersecurity solutions
- Ensure all components, hardware, software, licenses, subscriptions, and services are priced accurately
- Understand and align solutions to the clients security budget and financial constraints
- Work with sales to develop commercially competitive offers without compromising solution integrity
- Build healthy working relationships with the customer
- Engage with clients to understand their business goals, security challenges, technical environments, and risk posture
- Translate customer concerns into technical requirements and align them with appropriate solutions
- Set up and run PoCs to validate product fit and performance in the customers environment
- Help customers understand how to maximize value from the solution and improve their security posture
- Conduct regular training sessions for internal sales teams on cybersecurity products, services, and evolving threat landscapes
- Provide training and onboarding sessions to customers post-sale or during PoCs
- Stay current with industry and vendor certifications
- Facilitate knowledge transfer between presales, delivery, and product teams
- Provide other functions with support beyond scope of responsibilities to achieve common organizational goals
- Evaluate and help implement new tools or platforms to streamline the presales workflow (e.g., demo environments, proposal automation tools)
- Undertake any other related tasks, as assigned by the seniors
Person Specification
- Bachelors Degree related to IT or Engineering
- Masters degree in cyber security is optional, but would be an added advantage
- Professional certifications in the area of cyber security would be an added advantage
- Good leadership skills
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for continuous self-learning
- Excellent communicator, team player, and a person capable of translating plans into action
- Knowledge in Cybersecurity Domains like Network Security, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Data Protection
- 03 - 07+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with 02 - 05 years in pre-sales, technical consulting, or solution architecture roles
- Familiarity with supporting RFPs, PoCs, demos, and pre/post-sales transitions
- Familiarity with leading cybersecurity products in any of the domains like Network, Endpoint, Cloud or Data Security
