Job Description

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and planning upgrades
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Windows operating systems and related services
  • Optimize server performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
  • Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and other core Windows services
  • Manage cloud-based Windows environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, or hybrid solutions)
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory standards
  • Implement and manage patching processes for servers
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and remediate security issues on Windows systems
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages
  • Conduct post-incident reviews and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Implement process automation for routine tasks to improve operational efficiency
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to L1/L2 administrators and team members
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network, storage, and application teams, to resolve issues
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides

Person Specification

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server (MCSE/MCITP), Azure Administrator Associate are preferred
  • Proficiency in managing Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policies, and related services
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud environments
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership and mentoring capabilities
  • 7 Years of experience in Windows Administration
