Consultant - Networking - Managed Services

Job Description

• Strong expertise in Cisco Voice technologies, including CUCM, CME
• Proficiency in Cisco Wireless solutions, including access points, controllers, and security policies
• In-depth knowledge of Palo Alto Firewall configuration, threat prevention, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls for secure connectivity and traffic management
• Expertise in configuring and managing Cisco 9500 Core Switches for high-performance enterprise networks
• Excellent understanding with ITIL processes, particularly incident and problem management
• Excellent understanding with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, QoS, VPNs, and network security best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in advanced troubleshooting techniques and best practices
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on networking technologies

Person Specification 

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Cisco certifications such as CCNP R&S, CCNP Security, CCNP Collaboration etc
• Palo Alto certifications such as PCNSA, PCNSE, etc
• Fortinet certifications such as NSE 4, NSE 7, FCP, FCSS, etc.
• ITIL Foundation is an added advantage
