Job Description

  • Pre-Sales Engagement
    - Work closely with account managers to understand customer requirements and position suitable network solutions (LAN, WAN, Data Center, Security, Wireless, Cloud, etc.)
    - Conduct technical workshops, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs) for customers
    - Assist in preparing and delivering solution presentations, proposals, and RFP responses
  • Solution Design & Proposal
    - Translate customer business needs into high-level architecture and detailed Bill of Materials (BoM)
    - Design solutions based on leading OEMs (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Huawei etc.) ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with industry standards
    - Provide alternatives or migration strategies for End-of-Life (EOL) or End-of-Support (EOS) devices
  • Bid Management
    - Work with internal teams and OEM partners to prepare accurate pricing, licensing models, and technical compliance documentation
    - Ensure all proposed solutions are commercially viable and technically sound
  • Customer Guidance
    - Become trusted technical advisor for customers throughout the sales cycle
    - Provide guidance on best practices, architecture frameworks, and emerging technologies
  • Collaboration
    - Liaise with delivery and support teams to ensure smooth handover of awarded projects
    - Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, and technology partners to stay updated on latest offerings

Person Specification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Fresh Graduate or 01 - 03 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs
  • Experience with network design and implementation, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
  • Hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls will be an added advantage
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP will be an added advantage
