Intern - Content & Media

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Intern - Content & Media. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of digital content and media platforms and ecosystems from ingest to play-out to customers on different media, while working alongside our experienced team of professionals.

As an Intern in the Content & Media Division, you will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to support real-world deployments of media backend systems and OTT platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about media technologies, streaming platforms, and modern digital service delivery.

Job Description:

• Assist in configuring and testing media backend systems, OTT backends, and related services.
• Support the setup and monitoring of media headend components (encoders, transcoders, stream routers, CMS, etc.).
• Participate in testing OTT mobile/web applications, identifying issues, and documenting results.
• Help prepare technical documentation, system diagrams, and deployment notes.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to gather technical information.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic system issues under supervision.
• Contribute to research on new technologies, platforms, and features related to media delivery and OTT ecosystems.
• Support day-to-day operations for ongoing customer projects and managed service environments.
• Conduct research and understand new technical solutions and trends in the market.
• Assist in introducing, evaluating, and implementing new solutions and platforms in this space
• Develop software tools and plugins that is required to echo system
• Testing new solutions and customer end devices related to Content and Media

Job Specification:

• Currently reading/holding a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of content and media-related Video Compression, Encoding, and Encryption technologies will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of IP networking, IP routing, and Multicasting knowledge
• Knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux / Windows)
• Hands on in Application Development (Android / Linux / Windows) and programming languages
• Knowledge of private and public cloud services in the market
