Job Description
- Provide support to production and development teams by troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Linux servers and Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes Engine
- Manage, monitor, and maintain Linux workloads running on virtualized infrastructure, containerized environments, and AWS cloud platforms
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers within a RHEL 8 environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux systems, services, and applications
- Optimize system performance, resource utilization, and scalability
- Manage and administer core DevOps services including Jenkins, Bitbucket, Vault, Kubernetes, and Artifactory
- Support infrastructure automation and configuration management initiatives using tools such as Shell scripting, Ansible, and Python
- Provide operational support for WSO2 middleware platforms including WSO2 APIM, WSO2 MI, and WSO2 MGW
- Perform daily operational activities related to DevOps infrastructure, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including development teams and the IT department, to ensure stable and efficient system operations
Person Specification
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- Relevant professional experience aligned with the responsibilities outlined above
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and system administration
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, EKS)
- Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Git, Ansible, and Jenkins
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Certifications related to WSO2 products, containerization, system administration, or cloud technologies will be considered an added advantage (e.g., Red Hat, Linux Foundation, VMware, AWS)
