APAC Regional Regulatory Affairs Director

SUMMARY

Lead the APAC Regulatory Affairs team to enable continuous market access and drive regional and global growth strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally to support business objectives and ensure regulatory excellence across the region, with a focus on China.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Regulatory Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement APAC regulatory strategies aligned with business needs, particularly in China. Ensure timely execution, resource planning, and up-to-date tracking systems.
• Team Leadership & Development: Build and lead a high-performing APAC Regulatory team. Drive talent development, performance management, succession planning, and capability building.
• Governance & Collaboration: Partner with internal functions (e.g., Legal, R&D, Commercial) to align regulatory actions with business goals, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• External Engagement: Represent the company in external regulatory bodies, trade associations, and with key opinion leaders to influence policy and support business objectives.
• Regulatory Intelligence: Monitor emerging regulatory trends and risks to ensure proactive strategies for market access and compliance.
• Global Alignment: Collaborate across global regulatory networks to share best practices, support cross-segment initiatives, and ensure a unified regulatory voice.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven leadership in regulatory affairs within the APAC region, preferably with experience in China.
• Strong strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and external stakeholder management.
• Experience in building and developing regulatory teams.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
