Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Business & System Analyst to translate complex business processes into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining requirements traceability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and proficiency in tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Job Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate complex business processes into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from initial request through to solution delivery.
- Create visual models such as process diagrams and data flow diagrams to validate and communicate solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Architects, and Developers to define system-level designs aligned with business strategy.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints in business processes.
- Conduct gap analyses and recommend solutions for process improvements.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating that developed solutions meet business needs.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management software to manage requirements and track progress.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling, system analysis, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and other forms of technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
- Familiarity with database concepts and querying (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
- Understanding of API integrations and data exchange formats such as JSON and XML.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, or SAFe are a plus.
