JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled Business & System Analyst to translate complex business processes into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining requirements traceability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business strategies. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and proficiency with tools such as Confluence and Jira.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
Translate complex business processes into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows.
Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from initial request through solution delivery.
Create models such as process diagrams and data flow diagrams to validate and visualize solutions.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Architects, and Developers to define system-level designs aligned with business strategy.
Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are well understood and implemented effectively.
Assist in identifying risks, dependencies, and constraints in business processes.
Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions for process improvement.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by validating that developed solutions meet business needs.
Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Utilize tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management software to track requirements and progress.
JOB SKILLS REQUIRMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
Strong understanding of business process modeling, system analysis, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools like Jira and Confluence.
Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and other technical documentation.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross- functional teams.
Experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
Experience with database concepts and querying (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
Familiarity with API integrations and data exchange formats such as JSON and XML.
Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Agile methodologies (CSM, SAFe) is an advantage.
