Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Business & System Analyst to translate complex business processes into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining requirements traceability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business strategies. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Agile methodologies, and proficiency in tools such as Confluence and Jira.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate complex business processes into technical requirements, user stories, and process flows.
  • Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from initial request through to solution delivery.
  • Create visual models such as process diagrams and data flow diagrams to validate and communicate solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Architects, and Developers to define system-level designs aligned with business strategy.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints in business processes.
  • Conduct gap analyses and recommend solutions for process improvements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating that developed solutions meet business needs.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management software to manage requirements and track progress.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of business process modeling, system analysis, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in creating process flow diagrams, data flow diagrams, and other forms of technical documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and requirements gathering.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and querying (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
  • Understanding of API integrations and data exchange formats such as JSON and XML.
  • Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, or SAFe are a plus.
