FULL STACK BACK END ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Backend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in backend development, API design, and cloud computing. You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable backend systems to support our applications and services.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, test, and maintain backend services using PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (JQuery).

Work with frontend and full-stack developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.

Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda.

Utilize Git/BitBucket for version control and collaborate with team members on code reviews and deployments.

Leverage AWS cloud computing components such as EC2, RDS, SQS, and SNS forscalable backend solutions.

Optimize database queries and ensure efficient data retrieval and storage.

Manage cloud-based infrastructure and assist in server administration with a basic understanding of Unix commands.

Maintain strong knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 for occasional frontend-relatedtasks.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software development processes.

JOB SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development with PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (JQuery).

At least 1 year of experience working with Node.js and Vue.js.

Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development.

Experience with serverless architecture, preferably using AWS Lambda.

Hands-on experience with version control tools like Git/BitBucket.

Familiarity with AWS services, including EC2, RDS, SQS, and SNS.

Proficiency in constructing optimized database queries and query performance tuning.

Basic understanding of Unix commands and server administration.

Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.

Experience with containerization tools like Docker.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.

Familiarity with microservices architecture.

Exposure to Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
