Job Summary
The Recruiter / HR Assistant is responsible for recruiting and filtering Virtual Assistant candidates using Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) and online assessment tools. They will conduct initial interviews and make recommendations for further interviews to the Directors of Operations who will conduct final interviews and make a decision to proceed with VA Training Class and pairing with a client. The Recruiter / HR Assistant would then conduct pre-onboarding activities for each VA scheduled for training to conduct background checks, check references, etc. Job position requires great people and communication skills as well as great organization skills.

What Youll Do
Recruit and Screen Candidates:
- Use Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) and online assessment tools to evaluate Virtual Assistant candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews and recommend top candidates to the Directors of Operations.
Manage Pre-Onboarding:
- Perform background and reference checks for approved candidates.
- Coordinate pre-onboarding activities to ensure readiness for training.
Create Impact:
- Post job ads on top online platforms and social media.
- Handle inquiries and boost MIRA Staffings recruitment presence.
Talent Coordination:
- Assist in VA pairing, training, and placement.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date data management.
What Youll Bring
- ATS Expertise: Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Software is a must.
- Social Media Savvy: Skilled at managing platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok for recruitment.
- People-Centric: Warm, patient, and skilled at engaging diverse personalities.
- Organizational Pro: Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
- Effective Communicator: Excellent English verbal and written communication.
- Tech-Ready: Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and desktop tools.
Requirements
- Education: Senior High School Diploma or higher.
- Equipment:
- Two devices with i5 processors, 8GB RAM, and Windows 10+.
- Dual monitors (desktop) or one external monitor (laptop).
- High-speed internet (10 MBPS wired; 30 MBPS speed test).
- Backup internet and power supply (6+ hours).
- Work Area: Quiet and distraction-free.
