Job Summary

We are looking for a person who is an Ideal Team Member; someone who is goal oriented and a proven record of meeting and exceeding their goals. This person will have great people skills with the intuitive ability to communicate and interact with various types of people. This position is a leadership position for a company that supplies Virtual Assistants to companies located in the U.S. and Canada. Candidates should have strong experience working in the VA industry as an Operations Manager or higher. The Associate Director of Operations will be supervising Associate Operations Managers and Operations Managers. In addition, they will handle excess capacity by managing Clients and VAs. Candidates must be able to work night shift in order to support Clients in the U.S. and Candada.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The Mira Staffing Associate Director plays a pivotal role in the Operations Department. This role entails supervisory responsibilities, requiring the incumbent to oversee recruitment, pre-onboarding, onboarding, training, pairing, daily operational activities, client relations, and fostering a conducive organizational culture. Additionally, the Associate Director will actively contribute to driving the company's Mission and Vision forward.

Duties/Responsibilities

  1. Supervisory Support: Will supervise Operations Managers and Associate Operations Managers within the Operations Division as well as managing Clients and Virtual Assistants (VAs).
  2. Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate or oversee VA recruitment processes, pre-onboarding, and onboarding activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.
  3. Training, coaching and Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for staff members, fostering continuous growth and development.
  4. Client Relations: Collaborate with the Director of Operations to maintain positive client relationships, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  5. Operational Efficiency: Work towards optimizing operational processes and workflows, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Could coordinate closely and effectively with different department ensuring success, clarity, and collaboration.
  6. Cultural Development: Actively contribute to fostering a positive and inclusive organizational culture, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement.
  7. Growth: Align operational activities with the company's Mission and Vision, working towards their fulfillment, sustainability, and growth.

Generally healthy and can work on night shift

Systems and Other Requirements

  • Two (2) Computer Processors having at least i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, and Windows 10 or better operating system
  • Have 2 monitors for a desktop computer or one monitor to work in conjunction with a laptop.
  • Ideally a laptop
  • Has two (2) forms of internet. Backup internet can be a hot spot on the cell phone or should have a backup location. Primary internet must provide at least 100 mbps on wired plan (computer is wired directly to the router).
