Temporary Nanny – Private Family (Grange)

Short‑term placement | Infant care | 4 days per week | 30-hours

We are seeking a kind, experienced, and professional temporary nanny to care for a much‑loved baby during an important transition period for a warm and welcoming family. This is a short term temporary opportunity, ideal for a nanny who values meaningful work, clear communication, and a supportive home environment.

The family is looking for someone who brings gentleness, confidence, and emotional intelligence to their care — someone who understands just how special this early stage of childhood is.

About the Family

• One baby (5 months old)
• Parents work from home on some days
• Calm, loving home with a relaxed but structured rhythm
• Two friendly small dogs (cavoodles)
• Strong focus on connection, trust, and open communication

The family genuinely values their nanny and sees them as an important part of their child's world.

Dates & Hours

• Temporary placement: Commence 22–25 June 2026 and finish mid-April 2027
• Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
• Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (30 hours per week)
• Rate: $35/hr + Super (leave incl)

Day in the life

With your friendly attitude you will be responsible for providing attentive, nurturing, sole‑charge care for an infant in their own home. 

• Loving, responsive infant care
• Supporting age‑appropriate play, sensory activities, and early development
• Feeding, settling, and maintaining familiar routines
• Nappy changes and baby hygiene
• Baby laundry and light child‑related tasks
• Gentle outings such as walks, park visits, or stroller coffee trips

Applicants must have:

•  Valid Blue Card
•  Current Police Check
•  Infant First Aid & CPR
• Proven nanny or infant care experience (min.) 2 yrs
• Strong, recent references that speak to your care and reliability

Driving requirements are minimal, with most activities within walking distance.
