POSITION SUMMARY:
The ServiceNow Developer provides support for FPIs ServiceNow platform (primarily ITSM and related ITIL processes) under the guidance of a Senior Developer or Platform Owner. The role includes configuring and developing solutions using Flow Designer, Service Catalog/Portal, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and basic scripting logic to enhance the platform and resolve defects. The ServiceNow Developer supports platform stability (incident/request triage, minor fixes) and assists with upgrades and Health Scan remediation. Architectural decisions remain the responsibility of the Senior ServiceNow Developer or Platform Owner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Configure and develop ServiceNow capabilities for ITSM (e.g., forms, tables, catalog items/record producers, notifications) following established guidelines and best practices.
Modify existing workflows and create new workflows.
Configure ServiceNow integrations with other third-party applications.
Support ensuring that ServiceNow functionality aligns with ITIL standards.
Stay up to date on ITIL standards and ServiceNow functionality.
Support platform upgrades (smoke testing, minor break-fix due to incompatible changes) and, with guidance, follow up and resolve Health Scan findings.
Create and update documentation and knowledge articles for supported solutions.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide cross-functional support, as needed, to other operational areas within FPI (Financial Partners Inc).
Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements that result in greater efficiency, increased productivity, and high customer satisfaction.
Deliver exceptional customer service to all current and potential customers, clearly communicating status and risks.
Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelors degree in a computer-related field preferred, combined with knowledge of current technology trends and developments.
- Certifications: ServiceNow CSA (required). CAD (preferred). Micro-certifications in Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ITSM are a plus.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices, including knowledge of CSDM and basic CMDB concepts; basic knowledge of JavaScript/Glide API is a plus.
- Typically 1 to 3 years of experience developing or administering ServiceNow or similar workflow platforms; internships and co-ops will be considered.
- Strong analytical skills combined with advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in a diverse community.
