About the role
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer who can act as a strong troubleshooter and problem-solver, for an initial 4-week analysis phase, with a likely extension into a remediation and implementation phase.

This opportunity is open globally, but candidates must be available to work between 9:00 AM 3:00 PM CT.

Start date: ASAP

Initial term: 4 weeks (with possibility of extension)

Location: Mexico and Colombia

Requirements
· 5+ years in data engineering or database architecture

· Strong SQL and relational database optimization (indexing, query performance)

· Experience with ETL pipelines and data quality frameworks

· Proven track record in systematic root cause analysis

· Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI preferred)

· Experience implementing data monitoring and alerting systems

· Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

· Azure data stack experience

· Healthcare or pharmaceutical industry experience

· Experience with marketing/campaign analytics data

· Experience building scalable, centralized data layers or APIs
