Job Overview
The HR & Compliance Associate supports the Human Resources function while ensuring the organization adheres to internal policies, legal requirements, and regulatory standards. This role assists with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, HR administration, compliance documentation, audits, and policy implementation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to maintaining accurate records while promoting a compliant and efficient workplace.
Job Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day HR operations and employee lifecycle activities.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and HR administration.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and internal procedures.
- Coordinate and maintain compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO 27001 (Information Security Management System) requirements.
- Assist in internal and external ISO audits, documentation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain HR records, policies, and compliance documentation.
- Support employee awareness and training programs related to quality, information security, and HR compliance.
- Monitor compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare HR and compliance reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve compliance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR Operations and Compliance.
- Hands-on experience working with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 management systems is mandatory.
- Experience coordinating internal and external ISO audits and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan Labour Laws and HR best practices is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work from 2.00pm to 11.00pm SLT, onsite
