Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's technology operations team. This role focuses on infrastructure automation, deployment pipeline management, platform reliability, and middleware operations, with a strong emphasis on WSO2 platforms. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD practices, container orchestration, and enterprise production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage deployment, configuration, clustering, patching, and administration of WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Micro Integrator, and WSO2 Identity Server
• Support cloud-based deployments across AWS, Azure, on-premises Kubernetes, and OpenShift environments
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application and middleware deployments
• Implement infrastructure automation, provisioning, and configuration management processes
• Monitor platform health, availability, capacity, and performance across all environments
• Support release management, deployment planning, rollback procedures, and production changes
• Troubleshoot middleware, infrastructure, deployment, and networking issues
• Ensure backup strategies, disaster recovery readiness, high availability, and security compliance
• Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, and security teams to improve deployment efficiency
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Recommend and implement improvements for scalability, reliability, and automation maturity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Platform Support, or Site Reliability roles
• Strong hands-on experience with WSO2 API Manager, WSO2 Micro Integrator, and WSO2 Identity Server
• Proven expertise in deployment, configuration, clustering, tuning, and administration of WSO2 environments
• Strong experience in public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments
• Strong Linux/Unix administration and scripting skills
• Good understanding of networking concepts including SSL, DNS, load balancers, and firewalls
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and communication skills
