Job Overview

We are seeking a responsible and patient-focused Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations, assist with accurate medication dispensing, maintain pharmacy records, and provide basic guidance to patients under the supervision of the pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacist in the accurate dispensing of medications according to prescriptions.
• Provide patients with clear and basic guidance on the proper use of prescribed medicines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy records.
• Assist with stock management, inventory monitoring, and maintaining appropriate stock levels.
• Ensure medications are stored and handled appropriately.
• Follow healthcare standards, pharmacy procedures, and internal policies.
• Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
• Maintain a professional and patient-focused approach when interacting with customers.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy or related healthcare environment.
• Registered Pharmacist / Apprentice Pharmacist / Medical Counselling experience or relevant qualification.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and patient-handling skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work responsibly and professionally in a healthcare environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
