Job Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Group Head of Procurement to lead and optimize procurement, purchasing, and inventory management functions. The role focuses on developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and improving overall supply chain efficiency while ensuring cost effectiveness and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead supplier management, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve cost savings and value optimization.
• Oversee purchasing activities and ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to improve supply chain efficiency.
• Manage inventory and ensure accurate stock control and store operations.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with business needs.
• Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving and improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional procurement or supply chain certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in procurement or a related field.
• Strong experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Good knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, and inventory management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in international procurement will be an added advantage.
