Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Executive – Financial Reporting & Taxation to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, supporting statutory reporting, and assisting with audits. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of accounting principles and taxation practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting Finance Manager to finalize monthly management financial statements/ management reports/presentations and group financials statements.
• Assisting to finalize statutory financial statements of
  group companies.
• Dealing with External/ Internal auditors by providing relevant schedules and other supporting documents.
• Preparing/ overlooking bank reconciliations, G/L Reconciliations including related workings and maintaining general ledger of group companies.
• Preparing monthly/ quarterly tax workings for payments and Timely preparing/ submitting of tax returns.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field from a recognized university.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, including at least three (3) years of experience with a reputed audit firm.
• Part qualification in ICASL, ACCA, or CIMA is required.
• Full qualification in AAT or CMA will be considered an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge and hands-on experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Candidates aged 30 years or above will be preferred.
