Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager / Senior Executive – Purchasing & Supply Chain to manage procurement activities, supplier relationships, inventory planning, and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely sourcing of materials, cost-effective purchasing, and smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Skills & Qualifications
- Fully or Part qualified in Logistic and Supply chain Management, Procumbent or similar from a recognized institution
- Computer literacy with MS Office package ERP systems and Tally
- Prior experience of minimum 5 to 10 years in Imports, Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain,
- Experience in similar industry/ Engineering will be an added advantage
- Stores and inventory handling
- Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and other foreign & local authorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in both English and Sinhala
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Preferable a male candidate age below 45 years
