Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to support daily accounting operations, financial record management, reconciliations, and reporting activities. The role requires ensuring accuracy in financial transactions while supporting the finance team in maintaining efficient and compliant accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle supplier payments, petty cash, and invoice processing.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Assist in preparing monthly Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
- Support the preparation and monitoring of budgets and cash flow reports.
- Maintain and update debtors and creditors ledgers, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Assist in import costing, LC/TT documentation, and inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinate with auditors and support year-end audit activities.
- Prepare management reports as required by the management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or in a relevant area or Part qualification in CA or CIMA.
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Good understanding of financial reporting and reconciliation procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
