Senior DevOps Engineer

About Our Client

Our client is a technology-focused organization delivering digital products and cloud-based solutions. The organization is seeking a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen its cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities.

Job Overview

The Senior DevOps Engineer will work closely with software engineering teams to build, automate, maintain, and support cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps processes, with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure infrastructure for digital applications and services.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform.
• Develop and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, and Python.
• Support deployment and operation of .NET applications and Azure services.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve cloud and deployment issues.
• Improve automation, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation and reusable DevOps tools.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, architects, security, and platform teams.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure; AWS experience is an advantage.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Bicep or Terraform; Bicep is highly desirable.
• Strong scripting/automation skills in PowerShell, Bash, Azure CLI, or Python.
• Understanding of cloud networking, identity, access management, and security.
• Experience deploying and supporting cloud-based applications.
• Knowledge of .NET, SQL Server/Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, APIM, App Service, Load Balancer, and Virtual Machines is an advantage.
• Knowledge of RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, and network security is desirable.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and LLM APIs is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and ownership skills.
• Willingness to occasionally work outside normal business hours, including weekends.
