Job Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Executive – Laboratory Services to drive new business, promote laboratory testing solutions, and build strong relationships with clients. This role is ideal for a motivated science graduate who is interested in developing a career in sales, marketing, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for laboratory services.
  • Generate leads and build a strong pipeline of potential clients.
  • Promote laboratory testing solutions and services to prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable laboratory solutions.
  • Conduct client visits, presentations, and follow-ups to drive sales.
  • Achieve assigned sales and business development targets.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and customer interactions.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Support business development activities while maintaining HSE and company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science & Technology, Agriculture, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply with an interest in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development.
  • Experience in Sales & Marketing or Food Manufacturing/Operations will be an advantage.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the country.
  • Valid driving/riding licence is preferred/required.
  • Self-motivated, organized, disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong teamwork, integrity, and commitment to HSE standards.
  • Existing leads and referrals that can generate new business will be an advantage.
