Role Overview:
As a Research Assistant, you will play a vital role in advancing our mission through comprehensive research and analysis. You will be instrumental in building the knowledge base that drives digital equity initiatives. Working closely with program teams, you will conduct research that informs strategies, supports grant applications, and helps measure the impact of various programs. This role requires someone who can translate complex research findings into actionable insights that advance the mission of digital inclusion.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on digital literacy, technology equity, and community outreach initiatives
- Analyze global and local trends in digital inclusion and education
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing digital literacy programs
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources
- Prepare detailed research reports and presentations
- Maintain research databases and documentation
- Provide research-based inputs for program development and improvement
- Support the development of training materials and resources
- Assist in measuring program impacts and outcomes
- Support grant writing efforts with research-based evidence
- Assist in identifying funding opportunities
- Help prepare proposal documentation
- Contribute to impact reports for donors and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Education, Development Studies, or a related field
- Previous research experience, particularly in the development sector
- Understanding of digital literacy and technology accessibility issues
- Experience with research methodologies and data analysis
