Qualifications:
- Fully or partially qualified in CIM, SLIM or Business Managment Degree
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales and marketing in the airline or service industry.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Possess excellent sales and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work nonstandard hours if required, especially during peak travel seasons.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and process group booking requests, including flight arrangements, pricing, and special requirements.
- Provide price quotations to travel agents and tour operators and negotiate group fares with the revenue management team.
- Act as a point of contact for travel agencies, corporate clients, and direct customers regarding group sales.
- Generate reports on group sales, analyzing performance and identifying trends.
- Monitor competitor pricing for groups and suggest pricing strategies to revenue management.
- Engage in sales visits to potential corporates to maximize corporate sales.
- Achieve group sales targets and exploit new opportunities.
- Contribute ideas towards the sales action plan, marketing plan, and airline branding.
