Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support essential human resource functions and foster a productive workplace. The ideal candidate will assist in various HR processes, including recruitment, employee onboarding, and day-to-day HR administration, while also helping maintain smooth operations within the HR department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent professional qualification in Human Resources.
- 3 to 5 years in a similar HR role.
- Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Prior HR experience in the IT industry is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with supervisors to create effective job advertisements and coordinate the recruitment process.
- Conduct technical short-listing of resumes and schedule interviews with candidates.
- Assist in onboarding processes, including probation confirmations and employee orientation.
- Manage employee attendance, leave records, and other routine HR administrative tasks.
- Prepare and draft official letters, HR documentation, and EPF/ETF-related paperwork.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and address general HR-related questions.
- Support HR functions such as talent acquisition, performance management, learning and development, and industrial relations.
