We are looking to hire an "Assistant Manager - MICE" for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the MICE sector within the travel industry.
  • Proven track record of managing and executing successful MICE projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional Asian languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute MICE strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the MICE sector, targeting local and regional clients.
  • Design and deliver customized MICE packages tailored to client needs and budgets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other key stakeholders to ensure competitive pricing and quality service delivery.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of MICE events, including logistics, accommodation, transportation, and on-site management.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, contracts, and event budgets, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the planning and execution of events.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on MICE activities and performance.
  • Led and mentored junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
  • Stay informed about local socio-political events that may impact MICE activities and develop contingency plans accordingly
