About the job: 

The role focuses on developing and executing regional sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market penetration. It involves leading a high-performing sales team, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities. Customer satisfaction and long-term loyalty are prioritized through excellent service and feedback-driven improvements. Additionally, the role includes reporting sales performance, coordinating with marketing and supply chain teams, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution

Develop and implement regional sales plans aligned with company goals and market demands. Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring revenue growth and market penetration.

Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Team Management

Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team within the region.

Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and implement strategies for continuous improvement.

Conduct regular meetings to align team efforts with company objectives.

Market Development

Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, hospitals, and retail pharmacies.

Identify new business opportunities and ensure timely execution of regional initiatives. Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Customer Relationship Management

Ensure excellent service delivery to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Build long-term relationships with key accounts to foster loyalty and repeat business.

Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and implement feedback into actionable strategies.

Customer On boarding

Introduction of New Customers

New Customer appointments as per the SOP and documentations Regular customer verifications

Debtor Management

Ensure effective debtor management by monitoring receivables, resolving disputes, coordinating with teams, analyzing aging reports, and implementing strategies to minimize outstanding debts while adhering to company policies and compliance standards.

Reporting and Coordination

Prepare regular sales performance reports for senior management.

Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align regional campaigns with company objectives.

Liaise with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure product availability and timely deliveries.

Compliance and Documentation

Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate documentation of sales activities, contracts, and customer interactions.

Requirements: 

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Masters degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales management, preferably in the healthcare disposables or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and sales forecasting tools.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and regulations.
