Business Development Manager - Rice Mill and Food Processing Industry

We are looking to hire a "Business Development Manager - Rice Mill and Food Processing Industry" for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

• B.Sc BE/ Diploma Mechanical or Electrical.
• Experience : 3-4 Years in sales selling capital goods and project-related accessories 
• Willing to travel 15-20 days in Month, with self-motivation to generate inquiry and regular follow-up with the market.  
• Should be a quick learner. 
• Should be able to handle independent charges with Customers, suppliers, and any other agencies.
• Should be open-minded, willing to take up new challenges such as new product sales, New markets, and development, and ready to work with diversified activities based on market needs. 
• Should be target-oriented to achieve the company goals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. 
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Language: Sinhalese and English, Tamil ( Optional )
• Age: Around 30 years,

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
• Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, market research, and referrals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
• Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for expansion.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to potential clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving business development strategies and processes.
