About the job Head of Human Resources
We are looking to hire a "Head of Human Resources" for one of our clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or Professional Qualification in HR Management (PQHRM/CQHRM).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies to support business objectives.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Excellent communication in English & Sinhala (Tamil would be an added advantage) and negotiation abilities.
- Thorough understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
- Provide visionary leadership to the HR team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Oversee the recruitment process for diverse talent across all functions.
- Implement talent management initiatives, including performance evaluations, career development, and succession planning.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
- Conduct regular reviews of compensation structures and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
- Identify training and development needs within the organization and design programs to address them.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Mitigate HR-related risks through proactive policies, procedures, and training initiatives.
