Role Overview:
The Local Therapist will be responsible for delivering a range of Ayurvedic and wellness treatments, ensuring that each guest receives personalized care tailored to their individual needs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Ayurvedic practices, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide an exceptional spa experience.

Qualifications

• Certification or diploma in Ayurveda or a related wellness discipline.
• Proven experience as an Ayurvedic therapist, preferably in a luxury spa or wellness center.
• In-depth knowledge of Ayurvedic principles, treatments, and herbal preparations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• A passion for holistic health, wellness, and providing exceptional service.
• Ability to maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in local languages, with knowledge of English being an advantage.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations with guests to assess their individual needs and recommend appropriate Ayurvedic treatments.
• Perform a variety of Ayurvedic therapies, including Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Panchakarma, and other wellness treatments offered by the spa.
• Ensure the highest standards of service, hygiene, and safety during all treatments.
• Educate guests on Ayurvedic principles, lifestyle practices, and home care recommendations to promote long-term wellness.
• Collaborate with other therapists and spa staff to ensure a seamless and harmonious guest experience.
• Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and guest preferences.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in Ayurvedic and wellness practices.
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of treatment rooms, ensuring a clean, tranquil, and inviting environment.
• Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
