We are looking to hire a "Receptionist cum Customer Service Executive" for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the service industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with fluency in Sinhala and Tamil preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with the patience to handle challenging situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic administrative tasks.
  • Presentable appearance and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors and guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring a positive first impression of the company.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all customers, both in person and over the phone.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, purchases, and returns, resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle customer complaints and escalations with empathy and a solution-oriented approach.
  • Communicate fluently in English, Sinhala, and Tamil to effectively assist customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Translate documents or messages as needed to ensure clear communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and reservations for staff and clients as requested.
  • Maintain a professional and polished appearance at all times, representing the brand with pride and professionalism.
  • Uphold company values and standards in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.
