Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Air Ticketing Specialist to join our clients team in Cambodia. The Air Ticketing Specialist will be responsible for booking flight reservations, issuing tickets, and providing support to clients throughout the travel booking process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education or training in travel and tourism is preferred.
- Proven experience as an Air Ticketing Specialist, Travel Consultant, or similar role in the travel industry.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with CRS/GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing bookings and transactions.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of airline routes, schedules, and fare structures is an asset.
- Familiarity with travel regulations, visa requirements, and travel insurance options.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in booking flight reservations, including providing information on available flights, fares, and travel options.
- Utilize computerized reservation systems (CRS) to search for flights, make reservations, and issue electronic tickets.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of booking information, including passenger names, travel dates, and itinerary details.
- Provide personalized recommendations and assistance to clients based on their travel preferences, budget, and special requirements.
- Process payments for flight tickets and ancillary services, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and electronic payments.
- Coordinate with airlines, travel suppliers, and other partners to confirm reservations, resolve booking issues, and address customer inquiries.
- Stay informed about airline policies, fare rules, and industry regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information to clients.
- Assist clients with changes, cancellations, and rebooking of flights, and manage associated fees and penalties.
- Maintain organized records of bookings, transactions, and client communications, and generate reports as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after travel, addressing client concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the travel agency.
Additional Information
- This role requires relocation to Cambodia.
- Accommodation and air tickets will be provided for two returns per year.
