We are looking to hire a "Business Development Manager - Heating and Cooling" for one of our clients.

Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of Capital Equipment Sales such as boilers, Chillers, Compressors, DG Sites, etc in Sri Lanka & Maldives, etc
  • Degree / Diploma in Thermodynamics, Mechanical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering from a reputed University in Sri Lanka / overseas is also preferred
  • Excellent rapport with Industries
  • Posses Skilled in Enquiry Generation, order closure, strategic business plans across BOI/NON-BOI & conversion
  • Market Intelligence to understand competition strategies
  • To command & communicate in the local language
  • With Good communication skills, Negotiations, and Presentations, a Fast learner
  • Willing to travel extensively across the island-wide to generate sales

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential customers and leverage market knowledge and expertise to increase the Sales of Steam
  • Boilers, Thermic Fluid Heaters, and other Heating Equipment.
  • Prepare techno-commercial offers and reports.
  • Manage negotiations of sales contracts and order closures.
  • Provide design parameters for customized products and strategize the sales of newly launched products by liaising with Principals.
  • Liaise with associates to develop sales strategies, derive annual business plans, and drive market share in all product lines.
  • Execute internal and external business strategies to optimize customer relationships.
  • Manage monthly information sheets (MIS) and year-end close processes with Associates and within the Business Development Division.
  • Work with Business Intelligence and Marketing to improve the Business of assigned verticals.
  • Organize customer meet forums to present new products and engineering solutions to overcome manufacturing challenges.
  • Recruit sales team, set objectives, define roles and responsibilities, monitor performance, conduct performance reviews, ensuring their KPI objectives are achieved.
  • Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfill them.
