Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for marketing the annual maintenance contracts for Diesel Generator/Diesel Engine customers.
  • Visit potential or existing customers and identify their requirements and annual market maintenance contracts.
  • Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and gross profit targets.
  • Manage long-term business relationships with the clients to consistently achieve established targets.
  • Invoicing service agreements, managing, and timely collection of payments from customers.
  • Coordinate with respective departments and subordinates to improve the level of aftermarket support services
  • Gather market and competitor information, thereby forecasting future sales. Develop marketing strategies to enhance the growth of the unit.

Qualifications:

  • Part of Full Qualification in Marketing (SLIM/CIM) or equivalent degree.
  • Minimum two years' experience in marketing.
  • Exposure to engines, knowledge of engine-related equipment, or studies in any other technical course will be a definite advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with a good verbal command of English and Sinhala.
  • Having a sound IT literacy (MS Office Package) is essential.
  • Result-oriented individual with the ability to meet deadlines and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a demanding environment.
