Job Summary:

We're looking for a seasoned Project Manager with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, results-driven, and possess exceptional leadership and communication skills. As a Project Manager, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining high stakeholder satisfaction.

This role will involve working closely with both local & foreign government sector clients and their employees, managing client expectations, and proactively identifying and mitigating risks. The Project Manager will have the autonomy to drive project success and will play a critical role in the companys continued growth and excellence in software delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing large, complex projects.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams, preferably in the government sector.
  • Bachelors degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum Master certification is preferred.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Experience with resource allocation.
  • Understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies and when to apply them.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and resolve conflicts in a collaborative manner.
  • Experience managing projects within the government sector

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead project execution to ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as government clients.
  • Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, risks, and changes.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Foster Servant Leader Style; lead cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
  • Provide clear direction, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Resolve conflicts and address project challenges through creative problem-solving.
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address project issues.
  • Maintain a risk register and regularly review and adjust the project plan as needed to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Allocate resources appropriately and manage capacity to meet project demands.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Adhere to company quality control processes governed by ISO9001:2015 and CMMi L3 to maintain excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare detailed project reports, including status updates and risk assessments.
  • Ensure thorough project documentation is maintained and accessible for future reference.
  • Evaluate and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs through formal change management processes.
  • Ensure that any changes are communicated effectively to all stakeholders and approved as needed.
